Craps systems seem to be popping up all over the internet.  Everyone is touting they have the “craps system” that will win you millions of dollars.  This is simply not true.  Most of these craps systems are crap (pun intended).  They all are based on some assumption that because the shooter has rolled a seven, 8 out of the last 10 times, there is no way it will be a seven again.  But this is just not true.  These odds are the same no matter how many times that number has been rolled.  Ok, tangent ended.

Honestly, if you are looking to purely make money then you don’t need some complicated craps system that people are selling you.  Just look at the math and play the best odds.  Math does not lie.  We have said this over and over again throughout our site.  The simplest way to reduce the casino edge is to play the Pass Line every time.  Follow the Pass Line bet up with a free odds Pass Line bet for the max amount of money you can handle.  This mathematically is the best play at a craps table.

The reason craps systems get so much hype and people still use them is simple.  Boredom.  People like action and quite honestly it can get boring making this same Pass Line bet every single time at a craps table.  This is when people turn to the craps systems.  A craps system will tell you when and what to bet at the craps table.  Now that you realize we don’t fully endorse craps systems we feel it prudent to still give you a list of some of the more popular craps systems that people like to use.

1) DC-7 The Incredible Craps System: This craps system claims you can make $60 to $600 an hour using their system.  WOW!  Sign me up.  Well, not so fast.  They also claim a 4.34% advantage over the house???  I have done my math and this is absolutely impossible.  You will never have an advantage over the house so don’t buy into that marketing.  This is one of the many craps systems that costs you money just to get the system.  We are firm believers in the free craps systems and not the pay ones.  Use your money at the Craps tables betting profitable strategies instead of hyped systems.

2) I’m not sure if this falls under craps systems or not but I find it very interesting.  This does not apply to online craps, only land based craps.  Some say that the way you hold the dice can help decide the outcome of the dice.  I guess it makes some sense.  If you can hold the dice the exact same way and angle, throw them with the exact same angle and velocity, every time – you would expect similar results from all of these throws.  The problem is it is nearly impossible to control the velocity and angle every time.  But I suppose if you got really good at throwing the dice, this might increase your chances of throwing that 7 or 11 on the come out roll.

So as you have read, we don’t think there is a craps system out there that is worth your time.  Your best chances are to play the Pass Line and the Free Odds Pass Line every time.  Stick to the basics and leave the craps systems to other people.
